Job Description

Lead the global business development strategy for DNV's Plant Business Line, driving revenue growth across the Plant product portfolio with primary focus on the Risk product family (Phast, Safeti) and dedicated commercial acceleration of CFD products (KFX, EXSIM) in North and Latin America. The role centralizes accountability for go-to-market design and pipeline generation, delivered through and alongside regional sales teams. The role carries direct sales & revenue accountability for NA and LA CFD growth and influence accountability for global Plant Risk product growth.

What you'll do

North and Latin America CFD Commercial Acceleration - Initial Mandate
• Responsible for CFD products (mainly KFX and EXSIM) sales target in both NA and LA markets, delivered through orchestration with and enablement of the NA and LA sales team
• Investigate the market and establish sales plan to achieve the sales target
• Develop and maintain healthy sales funnel for CFD products in NA and LA
• Focus on upselling to existing customers and hunting for new logos
• Lead strategic-account engagement personally on competitive displacements and named greenfield pursuits
• Attend client meetings, conferences and lobby stakeholders as required to get the job done
• Coach and equip NA & LA sales colleagues on CFD positioning, competitive dynamics, and consequence-modeling integration with the Risk portfolio

Business Development (America's & EMEA - Risk Product) - Core Mandate
• Conduct comprehensive market research, identify and assess potential market opportunities, formulate and execute effective Go-To-Market strategies globally
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and target markets
• Develop and execute business growth in strategic segments
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to drive commercial success
• Track pipeline performance and report on growth initiatives
• Work with local regulators, key accounts, industry associations and other partners to promote our products as preferred solutions in different markets
• Identify high-quality sales leads, convert mature business opportunities, and transfer them to the local sales team for follow-up
• Evaluate emerging markets and establish entry strategies accordingly from both geographic and also industry segment perspectives
• Collaborate with wider ES and other BAs to leverage their network and experience to explore new markets
• Support Plant Growth Manager to establish and execute the growth strategy
• Provide input to product teams based on customer feedback and market demands

• Healthy sales funnel and pipeline value
• # of new CFD customers
• # of leads and opportunities
• Sales and revenue growth in strategic segments
• Sales and revenue growth in targeted growing geos

Qualifications

What is required
• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering or QSHE or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry or engineering software sales.
• Demonstratable track record in securing new client, expanding the product market penetration to meet/exceed goals.
• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships, both externally and internally.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural commercial environment.
• Solution oriented with the ability to make qualified independent decisions and move forward.
• Collaborative, both within immediate team and the wider business.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time
• Must have current valid driver's license
