Global Associate Marketing Director – CVRM

What is the opportunity?

Our product is in Phase III development for blood pressure lowering in resistant / uncontrolled hypertension and expanding across cardiorenal diseases by the potential for a fixed-dose combination with a best-in-class medicine for treatment of CKD and heart failure. The program is supported by an expansive clinical program, including major Phase III outcomes studies that aim to demonstrate our product provides both blood pressure reduction and organ protection in a single treatment option.

Accountabilities:

The Global Associate Marketing Director will lead the strategic development and execution of HCP and patient-centric strategies and programs focused on Hard to Control Hypertension. There is an opportunity to work across the franchise to support the commercial development of the robust lifecycle spanning 7 indications across 7 clinical trials over the next 7 years.  This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the cardio renal landscape, patient needs, and innovative approaches to healthcare marketing. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer, improve health outcomes, and drive long-term relationships with key stakeholders globally, market affiliates, and external partners.

What you’ll do

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies tailored to patients with Hard to Control Hypertension, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Patient Insights: Conduct and leverage market research and patient insights to understand patient needs, behaviors, and barriers to treatment adherence.
  • Shape product strategy with a tie to disease area strategies and insights (in HTN, CKD, HF)
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and industry partners to co-create impactful patient programs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory, and Communications, to ensure cohesive implementation of strategies.
  • Innovation & Digital Transformation: Drive innovation in patient and HCP engagement through digital platforms, mobile applications, and telehealth solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and refine strategies as necessary.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities are compliant with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Budget Management: Oversee allocated budgets for patient programs, ensuring cost-effective strategies that deliver maximum impact.
  • This role will report to the Global Head of Marketing

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required with science expertise as preferred
  • 5+ years demonstrated marketing and sales background in mid/large sized pharmaceutical market
  • Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external customers, including patients/caregivers, HCPs, payers, policy
  • Effective cross-functional project team and matrix leadership with influencing skills
  • Strong leadership attributes to generate dedication and constructively resolve issues
  • Passionate about improving healthcare and advancing treatments for patients
  • Driven for personal growth, development and progression

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Second degree, e.g. MBA. PhD

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $193,898 to $290,847. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
