Job DescriptionAbout the Role Reporting to the Global Head of Marketing, this is a leadership role responsible for shaping, building, and scaling Novotech's global brand and digital presence. The role leads a globally distributed team spanning creative, content, digital marketing, and marketing technology, and is accountable for delivering a consistent, high-impact brand experience across all channels & platforms.
This is not a traditional brand leadership role. It requires a unique combination of global brand building, creative leadership, digital channel expertise, marketing technology ownership, and strong operational management. The successful candidate will bring a combination of strategic thinking and execution.
ResponsibilitiesGlobal Brand Strategy & Development- Define, build, and evolve Novotech's global brand, ensuring a clear, differentiated, and consistent market position.
- Lead the development of brand frameworks, messaging, and visual identity across global markets.
- Act as the global brand authority, ensuring consistency while enabling regional adaptation.
Creative Leadership (Design & Content)- Lead and direct a small team of designers and content writers, setting a high bar for creative quality and consistency.
- Provide clear creative direction and feedback, ensuring all outputs align with brand standards and business objectives.
Digital Strategy, Marketing Technology & Experience Leadership- Lead and oversee a small team of digital marketers across:
- Social media (Eastern and Western channels)
- Search (SEO & SEM)
- Website strategy and development
- Define and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that supports both brand-building and commercial objectives.
- Ensure digital channels and platforms are optimized for performance, user experience, engagement, and conversion across regions.
Marketing Technology & Innovation- Identify and implement technologies that improve efficiency, content development, personalization, automation, and marketing performance.
- Support the adoption of practical AI tools and emerging technologies where they create measurable value.
Marketing Operations, Governance & Delivery- Establish and maintain a scalable digital operating model, including governance frameworks, workflows, processes, and standards that support efficient global execution.
- Own digital analytics infrastructure, reporting frameworks, attribution models, and data governance to ensure accurate measurement and actionable insights.
Hands-On Leadership & Execution- Lead high-impact brand, digital, website, and strategic initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Contribute directly to critical projects and strategic priorities where leadership involvement adds value.
Team Leadership & Capability Development- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team across brand, creative, digital marketing, and marketing technology disciplines.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-oriented culture aligned with Novotech's values and growth ambitions.
Performance, Analytics & Optimization- Establish and lead a metrics-driven approach to brand, digital, and technology performance, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tracking.
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure performance across regions, channels, platforms, and campaigns.
Experience and Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in brand, digital, integrated marketing, or marketing technology leadership roles, with a strong B2B focus.
- Proven experience developing and scaling global brands.
- Strong experience leading:
- Creative teams (design and content)
- Digital marketing teams (social, SEO, SEM, web)
- Marketing technology and digital operations functions
- Demonstrated ability to lead across Eastern and Western digital channels.
- Proven experience leading digital marketing, website, marketing operations, and enterprise marketing technology functions.
- Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, CMS, analytics, customer data, and digital asset management technologies.
- Experience developing technology roadmaps, managing vendor relationships, and driving adoption of new platforms and capabilities.
- Experience implementing practical AI tools within marketing teams and workflows.
- Strong hands-on capability, comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage complexity and drive execution.
- Experience managing and developing global or multi-regional teams.
Preferred Experience- Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotech, healthcare, or other highly regulated B2B industries.
- Experience leading global website transformations, digital platforms, or marketing technology modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with complex, matrixed global organizations.
Salary Band - Global Associate Director, Brand & Digital Experience: $160,000 to $190,000 USD - Salary offered will be based on candidates experience level.
