NATURE AND SCOPE:The Global Ambassador serves as a strategic representative of Cognia, fostering and maintaining relationships with educational institutions, ministries of education, and key stakeholders worldwide. This role promotes Cognia's mission to improve educational opportunities and outcomes through accreditation, certification, and continuous improvement services. The Global Ambassador acts as a thought leader, advocate, and liaison to expand Cognia's global presence and influence in K-12 education.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: Strategic Outreach & Relationship Building- Cultivate and maintain partnerships with international schools, education ministries, and global organizations.
- Represent Cognia at conferences, forums, and events to promote accreditation standards and services.
- Meet regularly with Accreditation Services leadership to identify key priorities.
Advocacy & Thought Leadership- Serve as a spokesperson for Cognia's vision and values in global education communities.
- Share insights on trends, best practices, and innovations in K-12 education and accreditation.
Program Development & Support- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Cognia's offerings are appropriate for and relevant to diverse cultural and regulatory contexts.
- Support the Accreditation Services International leadership and staff in providing guidance to schools and systems seeking accreditation or certification.
Market Expansion & Intelligence- Identify emerging international markets and opportunities for Cognia's growth.
- Support global expansion efforts.
Training & Capacity Building- Support the delivery of workshops, webinars, and presentations on accreditation processes, standards, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support the Accreditation Services International staff in implementing Cognia frameworks, expanding services, and conducting professional development.
Other- Perform duties and fulfill responsibilities that may, from time to time, include related or unrelated tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education & Experience:- Master's degree in Education, International Relations, or related field required; Doctoral degree preferred
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in K-12 education, accreditation, and/or global education leadership required
- Demonstrated understanding of international education systems and quality assurance practices required

- Proficient in designing, implementing, and improving programs to meet identified needs of stakeholders
- Ability to support the learning and skill development of colleagues through mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and structured training activities
