Job Posting Title: Global Account Director, Automotive

Summary The Global Account Director will be responsible for managing and growing a large Automotive OEM account in the transportation and logistics industry. They will be accountable for driving revenue growth, developing and executing account strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of account managers. The Global Account Director will report to the Automotive Business Development Director, North America.
Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at assigned global accounts
- Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within assigned accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and timely resolution of customer issues
- Prepare and present business reviews and performance reports to clients and DSV management
- Lead and develop a team of account managers to achieve individual and team objectives
- Conduct regular account planning and review meetings with the team
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution
Educational background / Work experience - Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is required
- Master's degree in business or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or account management in the transportation and logistics industry
- Experience managing global accounts and developing account strategies is required
- Prior experience leading and managing teams is preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in the Automotive industry is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in a multinational corporation is preferred

- Proficiency in other languages is a plus
Computer Literacy - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is preferred
