L'Opportunité

Le gestionnaire de l'équipe de génie industriel et manufacturier est responsable de la coordination, du leadership technique et de la performance d'une équipe multidisciplinaire composée d'ingénieurs et de techniciens et de la livraison des projets de l'équipe. L'équipe travaille en mode projet, contribuant à l'amélioration continue, à l'optimisation des procédés de fabrication et à la mise en œuvre de solutions innovantes pour la production de transformateurs de haute puissance. L'équipe assure un support aux opérations manufacturières du site à Varennes. La personne joue un rôle clé dans l'optimisation des processus, l'amélioration continue, l'industrialisation de nouveaux produits et l'atteinte des objectifs de sécurité, qualité, coûts, délais et durabilité.

L'impact que vous aurez :
  • Structurer, gérer, encadrer, motiver et développer une équipe d'ingénieurs et de techniciens.
  • Assurer l'optimisation de productivité de la production en termes de sécurité, de qualité et d'efficacité tout en s'alignant avec les objectifs opérationnels
  • Assurer la planification des ressources, la priorisation des projets et l'équilibrage des charges de travail
  • Assurer le suivi des livrables, des échéanciers et des budgets des projets de l'équipe
  • Participer à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre du plan de développement et d'amélioration de l'usine et des stratégies d'amélioration continue (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes (santé sécurité et environnement, qualité, production, maintenance, etc...) pour assurer l'intégration efficace des solutions proposées.
  • Travailler avec une forte orientation vers les résultats, en mettant en place des indicateurs de performance pour assurer le suivi des résultats.
  • Donner de la visibilité aux projets de l'équipe auprès des parties prenantes
  • Être un agent de changement et favoriser une culture d'ownership, de collaboration, d'innovation et de résolution de problèmes.
  • Former et développer les compétences de son équipe.
  • Réaliser les évaluations de performance, le coaching, le développement des compétences et la relève
  • À l'occasion, le gestionnaire peut également être appelé à réaliser des projets techniques et contribuer directement à certains projets techniques selon les priorités et les besoins opérationnels.
  • Avoir une approche client et anticiper les risques et les enjeux potentiels dans les projets de l'équipe, et mettre en place des mesures préventives pour assurer leur succès.
  • Fournir de l'aide à l'équipe pour débloquer les enjeux.

Votre experience:
  • Diplôme universitaire en génie industriel, mécanique, manufacturier ou équivalent.
  • Membre en règle de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • 10 à 15 ans d'expérience pertinente en milieu manufacturier, dont 2-3 ans d'expérience pertinente en gestion d'équipe technique
  • Connaissance approfondie des procédés de fabrication, de l'amélioration continue et de la gestion de projets.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, leadership et résolution de problèmes.
  • Maîtrise des outils de gestion de projet et des méthodologies Lean/Six Sigma.

The Opportunity:

The Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Team Manager is responsible for the coordination, technical leadership and performance of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians and for the delivery of the team's projects. The team works in project mode, contributing to the continuous improvement, optimization of manufacturing processes and the implementation of innovative solutions for the production of high power transformers. The team provides support to the manufacturing operations of the site in Varennes. The person plays a key role in process optimization, continuous improvement, industrialization of new products and achieving safety, quality, cost, lead time and sustainability objectives.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Structure, manage, supervise, motivate and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Ensure production productivity optimization in terms of safety, quality and efficiency while aligning with operational objectives
  • Ensure resource planning, project prioritization and workload balancing
  • Monitor team project deliverables, timelines and budgets
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the plant development and improvement plan and continuous improvement strategies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Work closely with the teams (health, safety and environment, quality, production, maintenance, etc.) to ensure the effective integration of the proposed solutions.
  • Work with a strong focus on results, implementing performance indicators to monitor results.
  • Give visibility to the team's projects to stakeholders
  • Be an agent of change and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation and problem solving.
  • Train and develop the skills of your team.
  • Perform performance reviews, coaching, skills development and succession
  • Occasionally, the manager may also be called upon to carry out technical projects and contribute directly to certain technical projects according to operational priorities and needs.
  • Have a customer approach and anticipate potential risks and challenges in team projects, and implement preventive measures to ensure their success.
  • Provide assistance to the team to unlock issues.
