En tant que Gestionnaire Santé, Sécurité et Environnement au sein de notre organisation, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans la mise en place et la supervision des initiatives visant à assurer la sécurité des employés, à promouvoir la santé au travail et à préserver l'environnement au sein de notre entreprise.

Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes opérationnelles et la direction pour garantir la conformité aux normes de sécurité et environnementales, tout en favorisant une culture de prévention et de durabilité.

Le poste est à temps plein du lundi au vendredi selon des horaires flexibles à Longueuil et s'effectue exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?
  • Élaborer, mettre en œuvre et gérer les politiques, les procédures et les programmes de santé, de sécurité et d'environnement conformément aux réglementations en vigueur, aux programmes RTX et aux meilleures pratiques industrielles.
  • Opérationnaliser le plan stratégique annuel ESS du site et en soutenir la mise en œuvre.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de gestion des entrepreneurs afin de mettre en œuvre des mesures préventives et des solutions visant à réduire les accidents du travail, les maladies professionnelles et les incidents environnementaux.
  • Adopter une approche de coaching basée sur le développement et la responsabilisation individuelle des membres de l'équipe.
  • Gérer la charge de travail de son équipe en établissant des échéanciers réalistes, une planification efficace des ressources et des priorités d'action.
  • Déterminer des responsabilités spécifiques et claires pour chacun des membres de son équipe.
  • Établir des rapports périodiques sur la performance en matière de santé, sécurité et environnement, en mettant en évidence les indicateurs clés et les progrès réalisés.
  • Promouvoir une culture d'engagement en matière de santé, de sécurité et d'environnement au sein de l'entreprise en organisant des campagnes de sensibilisation et en encourageant la participation active de tous les employés.
  • Participer à l'élaboration du plan stratégique de développement en santé, sécurité et environnement de l'usine.
  • Implanter les pratiques corporatives d'excellence en environnement, en santé et en sécurité.
  • Proposer des solutions innovantes et sécuritaires pour l'ensemble des installations de la compagnie en matière de santé, sécurité et environnement.


Qu'est-ce qu'il vous faut pour réussir?
  • Détenir un diplôme d'études universitaires dans une discipline appropriée (ressources humaines, santé et sécurité au travail, relations industrielles).
  • Connaissance des lois et des normes en matière de SSE.
  • Démontrer de grandes habiletés en communication, du tact et un bon sens politique.
  • Faire preuve d'un grand sens de la collaboration et de la capacité à traduire les enjeux en solutions concrètes.
  • Démontrer une facilité à accompagner et à conseiller les partenaires d'affaires en matière de santé et sécurité au travail.
  • Posséder du leadership et le savoir-faire nécessaire pour susciter l'adhésion aux solutions proposées.
  • Démontrer une grande aptitude en gestion du changement à grande échelle et une capacité à gérer ses répercussions à tous les niveaux de l'entreprise et auprès de tous les intervenants.
  • Maîtriser le français et l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit.


Ce poste s'inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une connaissance fonctionnelle de l'anglais pour lire et comprendre des instructions spécialisées, des plans, des dessins et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d'organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et parfois communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Job Title: EH&S Generalist Manager

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Develop, implement, and manage health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with applicable regulations, RTX programs, and industry best practices.
  • Operationalize the site's annual HSE strategic plan and support its implementation.
  • Collaborate with contractor management teams to implement preventive measures and solutions aimed at reducing workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental incidents.
  • Adopt a coaching approach focused on the development and individual accountability of team members.
  • Manage the workload of the team by establishing realistic timelines, effective resource planning, and action priorities.
  • Define clear and specific responsibilities for each member of the team.
  • Prepare periodic reports on health, safety, and environmental performance, highlighting key metrics and progress achieved.
  • Promote a culture of engagement in health, safety, and environmental practices across the company by organizing awareness campaigns and encouraging active participation from all employees.
  • Participate in the development of the plant's health, safety, and environmental strategic development plan.
  • Implement corporate environmental, health, and safety excellence practices.
  • Propose innovative and safe solutions for all company facilities related to health, safety, and environmental matters.


What do you need to be successful?
  • Hold a university degree in an appropriate discipline (human resources, occupational health and safety, industrial relations).
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental laws and standards.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, tact, and sound political judgment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to translate challenges into concrete solutions.
  • Ability to support and advise business partners on occupational health and safety matters.
  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to gain support and commitment for proposed solutions.
  • Strong change management skills, with the ability to manage large-scale change initiatives and their impacts across all levels of the organization and with all stakeholders.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.


Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
