Titre du poste: Gestionnaire de la planification et du contrôle de la production

Relevant du Directeur associé, Contrôle de production CMO et CMBD / Programmes US, le Gestionnaire de la planification et du contrôle de la production aura la charge d'une équipe de professionnels et gestionnaires de premier niveau et devra voir à la planification logistique de la fabrication de pièces critiques à l'assemblage moteur pour le Centre de Fabrication Longueuil. Il dirigera et coordonnera les activités de gestion des livraisons à temps, des inventaires de pièces en cours de production et de pièces finies ainsi que la communication avec les clients internes. Il évoluera dans un environnement dynamique, hautement performant et devra faire preuve d'adaptabilité.

Le poste s'effectue à notre établissement de Longueuil du lundi au vendredi et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
  • Diriger une équipe dans l'exécution de la planification des opérations quotidiennes de production en tenant compte des priorités et ressources disponibles;
  • Voir à la planification de la livraison à temps de l'ensemble des produits de l'organisation et coordonner la communication avec les clients internes;
  • Voir à l'optimisation de la séquence des opérations et du déroulement des opérations;
  • Définir la vision et gérer l'amélioration continue des opérations manufacturières et optimiser les processus;
  • Maintenir une saine gestion des inventaires de produits en cours de fabrication et de produits finies dans le but d'obtenir une amélioration des tours d'inventaires;
  • Responsable de la coordination des activités de sous-traitance pour certaines opérations en cours de fabrication;
  • Assurer une compréhension de la demande des produits à fabriquer pour moteurs neufs et pièces de rechange;
  • Voir à l'obtention au moment opportun de la matière première nécessaire au maintien du plan de fabrication;
  • Supporter la transformation digitale des activités de planification et de fabrication des produits;
  • Encadre, motiver et développer les membres de son équipe;
  • Suivre les indicateurs de performance (qualité, délai de fabrication, inventaires, etc.) et appliquer les mesures et solutions appropriés.

  • 10 ans et plus d'expérience pertinente en gestion de projets / exploitation / ingénierie / gestion d'approvisionnement;
  • Leadership engageant et d'influence;
  • Connaissance au niveau de plateforme digital permettant le traitement de données;
  • Capacités démontrées à gérer des mandats et des projets multiples;

Job title: Production Planning and Control Manager

Why Join The Team?

Reporting to the Associate Director, CMO Production Control & CMBD / US Programs , the Production Planning and Control Manager is leading a team of professionals and first-level managers and responsible for the logistical planning of the manufacturing of critical parts for engine assembly for the Longueuil Manufacturing Center. He will lead and coordinate the management activities of on-time deliveries, inventories of parts in production and finished parts as well as communication with internal customers. He will evolve in a dynamic, high-performance environment and will have to demonstrate adaptability.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Lead a team in executing the planning of daily production operations, taking into account priorities and available resources.
  • Oversee the planning of on-time delivery of all of the organization's products and coordinate communication with internal customers.
  • Oversee the optimization of the sequence of operations and workflow.
  • Define the vision and manage the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations and optimize processes.
  • Maintain sound inventory management of in-process and finished products with the aim of improving inventory levels.
  • Responsible for coordinating subcontracting activities for certain in-process operations.
  • Ensure an understanding of the demand for products to be manufactured for new engines and spare parts.
  • Ensure the timely procurement of the raw materials required to maintain the manufacturing plan.
  • Support the digital transformation of product planning and manufacturing activities.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Monitor performance indicators (quality, manufacturing lead time, inventories, etc.) and implement appropriate measures and solutions.
