Full-time Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) OR Physician Assistant (PA) Opening - Southbury, CT

Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full time Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Southbury, CT. The position Provides medical care for Geriatric patients under the supervision of a physician and includes seeing patients in the outpatient office, with a Monday-Friday workday schedule with no call responsibility.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least one year of experience in Geriatric/primary care. This is an employed position that includes a comprehensive benefits package, as well as allowances for CMEs and Dues. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout eastern New York and western Connecticut.

Job Requirements:
  • Experience working with hepatobiliary services
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • New York State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Federal DEA.
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Geriatric or Primary Care experience preferred
