NOVA Engineering is seeking an experienced
Geotechnical Project Engineer to be based from EITHER our
Panama City Beach or Pensacola, FL locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct and oversee special inspections and construction materials testing projects.
- Review and approve technical reports for both geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing projects, ensuring they meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, or an equivalent international degree with NCEES credential evaluation, is required
- EIT is required
- 5 - 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering is required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or ability to obtain within a year
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
