As a Group Manager, you strive to lead both your team and your profits. You have extensive experience both out on the field as well as handling the "business" side of geotechnical engineering. Engineers, technicians, and project managers look to you for mentoring both technically and in building client relationships. Responsibilities

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage our Detroit office. As the Group Manager, you will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the branch.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects including geotechnical and construction materials projects.
  • Assemble project teams and provide leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.

  • Ensure quality control, safety standards, and engineering best practices are maintained.
  • Perform technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications.

Qualifications

  • MS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university with a concentration in geotechnical engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
