Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering focusing on Geotechnical or Tunneling Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• In-depth knowledge of geotechnical principles with some understanding of Structures, Civil, and Environmental disciplines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Proficient in technical writing and various engineering software packages related to geotechnics and design.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to varied schedules and work environments.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork and conduct site visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate field observations and inspections for subsurface investigations.
• Design and analyze geotechnical aspects for infrastructure projects like bridges and tunnels under minimal supervision.
• Draft and prepare geotechnical memoranda, data reports, and design reports efficiently.
• Oversee and coordinate geotechnical construction activities and inspections in the field.
• Support task leaders in creating comprehensive reports and contract documents for projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project partners to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Help develop geotechnical work in various New England locations and beyond.
