Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering; M.S. is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience preparing Geotechnical Reports specific to the MD/Northern VA geological region.
• Strong understanding of local geotechnical regulations and requirements.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Self-motivated individual focused on delivering exceptional client service.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical engineering projects from initiation to completion, including technical report writing.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, plans, specifications, and maintain client correspondence.
• Provide technical geotechnical support to project managers and engineers across multiple regional offices.
• Assist other departments, such as Construction Materials Testing and Laboratory Services, as needed.
• Enhance client satisfaction through professional service and effective communication, fostering long-term relationships.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all deliverables meet established standards of excellence.
• Adhere to safety standards throughout project execution.
