Job Description- The Geospatial Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining geospatial data visualization solutions that integrate with cloud-based platforms.
- The position requires developing operational dashboards leveraging GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source geospatial platforms.
- Architects will optimize geospatial data layers for real-time analytics and cross-domain information sharing.
- The role includes overseeing the integration of geospatial AI/ML models ensuring accuracy and alignment with mission requirements.
Required Qualifications and ExperienceThe contractor shall provide personnel who meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or a related field; or
- A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in geospatial architecture.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
- Developing GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
- Integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications.
- Spatial analysis and remote sensing.
- Geospatial AI/ML applications.
- Developing operational dashboards with GIS integration.
Required Skills and Competencies- Expertise in GIS tools, geospatial data processing, and mapping services.
- Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source geospatial platforms.
- Proficiency in spatial analysis and remote sensing interpretation.
- Strong understanding of geospatial AI/ML applications.
- Ability to optimize geospatial data layers for real-time analytics.
Education- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Associate (Preferred, Not Required)
- GISP Certification (Preferred, Not Required)
Clearance RequirementNo clearance required for off-site duty location, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance as specified by the program
