  • Work with NYGC's compliance officers and DARB to ensure that data usage is compliant and maintain a list of approved datasets as they relate to AI model development;
  • Serve as a liaison between scientific teams and operational groups to support troubleshooting related to data availability, compute usage, workflows, and analysis pipelines; and
  • Track dataset access and usage, benchmarking activities, and model development milestones across projects.

Genomics AI Initiative Operations and Engagement
  • Support onboarding and coordination of Genomics AI Fellows and participating researchers;
  • Support development of inter-institutional workflows and agreements, including data access and use, collaboration, etc.;
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for Genomics AI Initiative activities and related grant proposals, and monitor expenditures throughout the year to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with program priorities;
  • Assist with planning and execution of scientific events and external engagement activities;
  • Help maintain strong working relationships among NYGC faculty, fellows, staff, and external partners; and
