What You'll DoAs a Superintendent, you'll be the driving force behind successful project execution, leading field operations from kickoff through closeout.
Lead the Jobsite- Direct daily field operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity
- Develop and manage project schedules to keep work progressing on time
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for maximum efficiency
- Plan work sequencing and proactively resolve field challenges
- Represent VMG in meetings with owners, general contractors, engineers, and project partners
Champion Safety- Promote a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility
- Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and VMG safety standards
- Identify and resolve hazards while investigating incidents and near misses
Deliver Quality- Ensure installations meet project specifications, code requirements, and VMG quality expectations
- Monitor workmanship and maintain accountability for project performance
- Protect company assets, including tools, equipment, and vehicles
Manage Project Performance- Complete daily reports, timesheets, schedules, and documentation accurately
- Track labor productivity, project costs, invoices, and subcontractor performance
- Maintain organized project records from startup through closeout
Develop Great Teams- Lead, mentor, and motivate field crews
- Establish clear expectations and hold teams accountable
- Foster a collaborative, respectful work environment built on trust and communication
- Help develop the next generation of field leaders
What You BringWe're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
- HVAC, Plumbing, or MEP experience strongly preferred
- Proven success leading field teams and coordinating complex commercial projects
- Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, manpower planning, and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
