Position Title: General Superintendent - Drywall & Framing
This position serves as a pivotal leadership role within a dynamic commercial general contracting environment. The General Superintendent will oversee multiple large-scale drywall and framing projects, ensuring effective management and execution across the Metro Atlanta area. This role involves coordinating with project managers and mentoring field superintendents, while also maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and production goals. Candidates should possess a robust background in commercial drywall, along with the ability to navigate both operational and financial aspects of construction. The challenges include managing several projects simultaneously and ensuring seamless coordination among teams. Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000/ Year DOE
Responsibilities: - Oversee approximately 8 active projects at a time
- Manage and mentor field superintendents
- Coordinate with project managers
- Review schedules and production
- Conduct jobsite visits and provide field leadership
- Oversee material ordering
- Ensure thorough documentation and meeting attendance
- Manage subcontractors
- Provide operational input for change orders
- Ensure quality, safety, and production goals are met
- Engage in strategic planning across multiple projects
Requirements: - 10+ years of commercial drywall experience
- 2-5 years as a General Superintendent preferred
- Metal framing experience
- Experience running large-scale commercial projects ($2M+ projects preferred)
- Understanding of both field operations and business/financial aspects of construction
- Prior General Superintendent experience is preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred
- Experience with prefab/panelization is preferred
- Familiarity with ACC and Procore is preferred
- Experience with large commercial GCs and projects in the Atlanta market is preferred
