General Superintendent
Position Summary
The General Foreman must have the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned by his/her immediate supervisor; provide the necessary information, drawings, specifications, materials, tools and equipment needed for crew(s) to accomplish the work.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in planning and scheduling; enforce safe practices and job safety programs
Monitor all paperwork for accuracy, clarity, and completeness; analyze the work to find a more productive cost-efficient method
Monitor performance and provide written evaluation, assistance, and training to all assigned employees
Prepare employees for additional responsibilities; and keep the proper management informed of all significant information
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in boilermaker craft industry
NCEER Certified Plus (Preferred)
Supervisory experience (Preferred)
Physical Requirements:
• Selected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and other repetitive motions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
