Commercial Concrete SuperintendentThe Bartley Corporation is seeking an experienced
Commercial Concrete General Superintendent to join our One Bartley Family. This position is responsible for leading multiple commercial concrete projects in the field while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to quality and budget expectations.
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily concrete field operations
- Lead foremen, crews, subcontractors, and field activities
- Coordinate concrete pours, forming, reinforcing, excavation, and related operations
- Review project plans, specifications, schedules, and job requirements
- Monitor labor productivity, job costs, and project schedules
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and deliveries
- Conduct daily and weekly planning with project teams
- Maintain high standards for concrete quality and workmanship
- Enforce OSHA and company safety policies
- Identify field issues early and work with Project Managers to develop solutions
- Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
- Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
Qualifications- 5+ years of commercial concrete construction experience, with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming, foundations, slabs, walls, reinforcing, and placement
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and crew-management skills
- Understanding of construction scheduling, labor productivity, and job-cost management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
