General Sales Manager - Classic Ford of Smithfield

What You'll Do
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Oversee all aspects of the sales department, including new and used vehicle sales, inventory management, and merchandising
Build and maintain a results-driven sales process that delivers an exceptional customer experience from first contact to delivery
Set the tone for a positive, accountable, and energetic culture that reflects our servant leadership philosophy
Recruit, train, and mentor sales consultants and sales managers, helping grow the next generation of automotive leaders
Analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to forecast and drive continuous improvement
Partner with the General Manager on pricing strategy, inventory acquisition, and overall dealership profitability
Ensure full compliance with dealership policies and all local, state, and federal regulations
What You Bring
Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience required
Proven track record of success in automotive sales management, with measurable results to back it up
Comprehensive knowledge of the sales process, from lead generation through the finance office
Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing people
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
A high-energy, hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to doing right by both customers and team members
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
