This position is a premier role within the organization, as the General Manager is responsible for the daily operations and business a new distribution center.
Roles and Responsibilities - Manage customer through proactive communication and data driven results
- Understand and meet production targets
- Review and evaluate performance reports

- Take charge of scheduling work and tasks
- Motivate team members positively and effectively.
- Create an environment conducive to success by promoting and recognizing initiatives.

- Partner with dedicated customer on a long term basis.

- Ensure high employee satisfaction and attendance.
- Promote teamwork and cooperation among team members.
- Take full responsibility and the required action on disciplinary procedures.

- Ensure a safe and harmonious working environment for all team members.
Qualifications- Experience in warehouse environment at a Manager level
- Utilized a WMS extensively
- P&L Management Experience
- Experience with figures and understand basic mathematics needed for reporting, analysis, and differentiation purposes.
- Manage your time effectively and be focused on setting clear objectives and priorities
- Experience managing a large team of people across multiple shifts
- Experience in workforce management and industry best practice.
Safety:- Observe and follow health and safety regulations
- Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
- Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
- Assign designated safety personnel
- Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
