Position SummaryElektro Assemblies is seeking a
dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven General Manager to lead the company through its next phase of growth.
The ideal candidate has a
proven track record of aggressively and profitably growing a business or business unit, while building a strong team, developing customers, improving financial performance, and creating accountability throughout the organization.
This is a hands-on leadership position with responsibility for the overall performance of the business. The General Manager will have significant responsibility for
P&L management, sales and marketing, financial performance, operations, customer relationships, strategic planning, and organizational development.
We are looking for a leader who is
charismatic, personable, approachable, dynamic, firm, and fair. The successful candidate will be comfortable making decisions, holding people accountable, developing talent, and communicating a clear vision for the future.
A strong background in
sales and marketing, financial management, and business development is highly desirable. Experience with the
Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and the Traction methodology is strongly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Leadership & Growth- Own the overall performance and growth of the business.
- Develop and execute a clear strategy for aggressive, sustainable, and profitable growth.
- Identify new markets, customers, products, channels, and business opportunities.
- Establish measurable growth objectives and hold the organization accountable for achieving them.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Build a culture focused on growth, accountability, customer service, quality, and profitability.
- Evaluate market opportunities and competitive conditions and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Ensure the company remains focused on the highest-value opportunities.
P&L & Financial Management- Take ownership of the company's financial performance and P&L.
- Establish budgets, forecasts, financial targets, and performance metrics.
- Monitor revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA/profitability, working capital, and cash flow.
- Analyze financial performance and take corrective action when results fall below expectations.
- Develop strategies to improve margins and profitability.
- Understand the financial impact of operational, pricing, customer, and strategic decisions.
- Work closely with ownership and financial leadership to ensure accurate reporting and financial accountability.
- Establish and monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
- Ensure growth translates into profitable growth, not simply increased revenue.
Sales & Marketing- Lead the development and execution of the company's sales and marketing strategy.
- Develop a strong sales pipeline and establish measurable sales objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and acquire new customers.
- Work closely with sales leadership to establish accountability for revenue and margin performance.
- Develop pricing strategies that support both growth and profitability.
- Strengthen the company's market position and value proposition.
- Maintain relationships with key customers and participate in important customer meetings.
- Establish a sales-driven culture throughout the organization.
Operations & Organizational Performance- Provide leadership and direction across all major functions of the business.
- Ensure operations are aligned with customer requirements and financial objectives.
- Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Establish clear expectations and accountability throughout the organization.
- Ensure the right people are in the right positions.
- Develop managers and future leaders.
- Address performance issues directly, fairly, and consistently.
- Promote cross-functional teamwork and communication.
EOS / Traction- Lead the organization using the principles of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and Traction.
- Establish and maintain clear company goals, priorities, and accountability.
- Effectively utilize tools such as Rocks, Scorecards, Level 10 Meetings, Issues Lists, and quarterly planning.
- Create organizational alignment around the company's vision and strategic priorities.
- Establish a culture of execution and accountability.
- Ensure that initiatives are completed rather than simply discussed.
Leadership & CultureThe General Manager must be a strong people leader who can establish trust while maintaining high expectations.

Required Qualifications- 3-5+ years of demonstrated P&L management experience for a product line, business unit, or company generating approximately $10 million or more in annual revenue.
- Proven track record of growing revenue while increasing or protecting profitability.
- Demonstrated experience managing financial performance and making decisions based on financial data.
- Strong understanding of P&L statements, gross margin, operating expenses, cash flow, working capital, and business drivers.
- Demonstrated sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Experience managing managers and leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to establish accountability and drive execution.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to make difficult decisions while maintaining trust and respect within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience leading a manufacturing or industrial business.
- Career background originating in sales, marketing, business development, or another customer-facing commercial function.
- Experience with EOS / Entrepreneurial Operating System and Traction.
- Experience managing a high-growth business or business unit.
- Experience with strategic planning, pricing, margin improvement, and customer development.
- Experience working with private ownership or an entrepreneurial organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
