The Role

HUNGRY is seeking a highly organized, client-focused, and operationally driven General Manager to oversee daily food program operations onsite at one of our largest corporate client campuses. This role serves as the face of HUNGRY onsite, ensuring seamless execution of food service operations while delivering an exceptional client and employee experience each day. The General Manager will act as a critical liaison between the client, HUNGRY Operations, Food Partners, and onsite Captains.

This individual will proactively manage day-to-day operational needs, resolve issues in real time, uphold food safety standards, and ensure all service expectations are consistently exceeded. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, communicates effectively across teams, and is passionate about operational excellence and customer experience.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily onsite food program operations at a large corporate campus
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for client stakeholders, employees, and HUNGRY team members
  • Address and resolve operational issues, service concerns, and client feedback in real time with professionalism and urgency
  • Support and guide onsite HUNGRY Captains during food deliveries, setup, service, and breakdown
  • Ensure all onsite operations align with HUNGRY service standards and client expectations
  • Maintain strong knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling, allergen awareness, foreign object protocols, and foodborne illness response procedures
  • Escalate and coordinate resolution of food safety concerns and operational incidents appropriately with the Client Success Manager, Food Partner Manager, and Food Safety Manager
  • Partner closely with Operations Managers and Food Partner Managers to ensure flawless daily execution across all meal programs
  • Collaborate with the Client Success Manager to track and manage client feedback, complaints, and action items
  • Monitor overall operational throughput and ensure timely resolution of outstanding onsite issues
  • Coach, direct, and support onsite Captains to ensure high performance, professionalism, and consistency in service delivery
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies onsite
  • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and foster a positive onsite presence for the HUNGRY brand

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in hospitality, food service operations, catering, corporate dining, or related operational leadership roles
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience managing onsite operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Deep understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, allergen management, and incident response protocols
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively problem-solve in real time
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to coach, lead, and motivate frontline operational teams
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally across operations, customer success, and vendor or partner teams
  • High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
  • Comfortable being onsite daily and actively involved in hands-on operational support
  • Food Safety Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred
