Job Details

We are seeking an energetic, professional, creative, and flexible General Manager who thrives in high-volume operations, excels at maintaining a dynamic guest experience while upholding strict professional boundaries, and can seamlessly execute within our established group systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Atmosphere & Floor Leadership: Maintain a high-energy, vibrant guest atmosphere during peak hours, game days, and events, while upholding strict professional standards and boundary management with the team.
  • Operations Within Systems: Work effortlessly within Stout Hospitality's established operational systems, SOPs, controls, and management structures to ensure consistency and profitability.
  • Sports & Event Execution: Leverage strong sports knowledge (NFL, Premier League, NCAA, MLB, etc.) to curate top-tier game-day viewing experiences, manage fan-club partnerships, and drive venue programming.
  • Tech Multi-Platform Mastery: Utilize and manage restaurant technology across POS, labor scheduling, inventory, digital menus, guest messaging, and venue management tools.
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing FOH and BOH team. Set clear expectations, lead by example, and build accountability without sacrificing morale.
  • Financial Performance: Manage daily venue P&Ls, prime costs, inventory control, labor targets, and supplier management to drive bottom-line growth.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5+ years as a General Manager in high-volume NYC bars, sports venues, or multi-level casual concepts.
  • Leadership Style: Professional, adaptable, highly organized, and authoritative when needed. Exceptional ability to drive floor energy while keeping professional boundaries clear.
  • Sports Knowledge: True passion for and deep understanding of sports culture, schedules, and game-day broadcast logistics.
  • Tech-Savvy: Tech-literate across multiple modern platforms (Toast POS, 7shifts/HotSchedules, Restaurant365/BevSpot, Resy, Google Workspace, Excel, etc.).
  • NYC Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of SLA laws, NYC DOH guidelines, labor regulations, and OSHA standards.
