Full Job Description
As a General Manager, you'll provide leadership in evaluating, allocating, and managing human, physical, and financial resources to develop and deploy the business plan. You'll create an environment that drives profitable growth, supports the development of team members, and delivers a world-class customer experience.

RDO Equipment Co. has a network of seven construction stores in the Southwest. This region is home to some of the fastest-growing construction markets in the U.S. Join RDO in Riverside, where you'll work to help customers in this area do the important work of building our nation. What You Will Do:

  • Lead Store Operations: Demonstrate leadership across all aspects of store operations, ensuring consistent execution and accountability.
  • Drive Strategy & Performance: Lead the development and deployment of a comprehensive strategic business plan aligned with financial and operational objectives, including annual benchmarks and budget.
  • Develop People & Teams: Hire, coach, mentor, and develop store leaders and team members-creating a work environment that supports growth and performance.
  • Manage Resources: Evaluate, allocate, and manage human, physical, and financial resources to support profitable growth and operational excellence.
  • Champion Customer Experience: Ensure customer satisfaction by partnering with all departments to understand expectations, resolve concerns, and build long-term relationships.
  • Strengthen Communication & Culture: Foster engagement and alignment through open-book meetings, team meetings, open-door leadership, and proactive feedback loops.

What You Will Need:

  • Proven Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in business and people management, with the ability to lead leaders and drive accountability.
  • Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of sales, parts, and service operations and how to align teams around shared goals.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and execute effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of John Deere construction dealership operations
  • Communication & Technology Skills: Effective verbal and written communication and strong computer skills to drive alignment, efficiency, and collaboration across teams.
  • Valid work authorization: Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
