POSITION OVERVIEW FOR THE GENERAL MANAGER OF CONSTRUCTIONReporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager of Construction has strategic, operational, and P&L accountability for the entire construction division, encompassing all Field Operations (Line and Wire divisions), Quality Control, facilities, fleet, and equipment. This executive leader is responsible for charting the division's long-term growth, market diversification, and overall profitability. The General Manager ensures that enterprise-wide safety, regulatory compliance, and client standards are uncompromisingly executed to drive high-performance operations and maximum commercial return.

- Competitive Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000 base salary plus annual bonus based on division and company performance. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and overall contribution to the company.

Requirements
FOR GENERAL MANAGER OF CONSTRUCTION- Provides high-level direction and oversight to all Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure responsibilities are being fulfilled and objectives are being met.
- Develops KPIs, defines success, and develops construction procedures, policies, and reporting to support operational objectives.
- Develops and submits reporting to the C-Suite at a high level of competence in regard to project performance, resource planning/forecasting, backlog, equipment, budgets, bids, etc.
- Oversees the project selection process in line with the company's strategic plan and annual objectives.
- Directs the estimating process to ensure quality, accuracy, and client needs are met.
- Maintains a constructive environment for the continuing development and advancement of directly supervised personnel and provides adequate safeguards for the work-related health and safety of employees. This includes ensuring that the company complies with all Federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Ensures accurate assessment of project requirements with manpower scheduling to ensure effective personnel are assigned as needed.
- Establishes and maintains a culture of excellence and employee engagement. Supports a working environment conducive to positive morale, individual style, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
- Ensures all projects are completed on schedule and on budget.
- Analyzes and evaluates construction process data for analysis, evaluation, and continuous improvement,
- Trains and ensures implementation of effective cost/waste tracking methods to provide insight to reduce cost/waste where possible.
- Regularly reviews project performance to ensure execution plans are on track.
- Provides technical expertise and leadership in assigned functional area; provides expertise for solving complex problems, as appropriate to the position and assists with, performs, or directs higher-level, complex projects.
- Establishes and maintains external client, vendor, and industry relationships, consistent with the objectives, operating philosophy, and desired image of the company.
- Ensures the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of all equipment, vehicles, and facilities owned, leased, or otherwise under the control of Agilitech.
- Maintains confidentiality on all corporate subjects so classified.
- Ensures the functions of directly reporting positions are carried out successfully and obtain satisfactory performance review ratings.
- Attends internal and external meetings as required.
- Conducts field safety engagements with members of supervision, focusing on injury prevention.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE GENERAL MANAGER OF CONSTRUCTION - High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- 10+ years' experience in construction management or project management
- Renewable energy experience with a demonstrated track record of constructing solar PV and BESS systems preferred
- Experience with prevailing wage & project labor agreements preferred
- Experience working on commercial & industrial projects overseeing electrical construction
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYThe General Manager of Construction exercises supervision over professional, technical, maintenance, and construction staff, either directly or through subordinate supervisors, as assigned. The following positions report directly to the Director of Construction:

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
