Full Job Description
Summary
Responsible for the overall management and direction of GLOVIS VPC operations. Leads and oversees all operational activities to ensure customer requirements are consistently met or exceeded. Directly manages GLOVIS staff, driving performance, employee development, and alignment with Company goals, policies, and standards. Ensures compliance with all regulatory, safety, and operational requirements, while delivering timely, high quality customer services.

Compensation

$110,000 - $125,000 yearly salary range. (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

Direct Daily Operations and Workforce Management
• Direct and oversee all daily on-site VPC operational activities to ensure production, quality, safety, and service objectives are met.
• Align staffing levels and headcount planning with production volume and operational goals.
• Review and coordinate production plans with Vehicle Logistics to support accurate shipment forecasting and execution.
• Analyze production plans and allocation rates to determine vehicle storage capacity requirements.
• Identify, implement, and sustain vehicle processing and operational efficiency improvements.
• Perform personnel management functions including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and corrective action.
• Monitor individual, team, and partner performance to ensure accountability and achievement of operational targets.

Financial Management and P&L Accountability
• Manage full P&L responsibility to meet quarterly and annual business plan objectives.
• Lead initiatives to maximize operational efficiency, optimize service delivery, and achieve financial performance targets.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of business operations to drive cost control, efficiency, and long term sustainability.
• Maintain a hands-on operational presence to validate, improve, and standardize processes and procedures.
• Ensure accurate cost recovery through proper identification, tracking, and invoicing of all chargeable activities.
• Develop, manage, and review monthly and annual business plans covering financial performance and production volume.
• Prepare and analyze budget reports, including headcount, tender costs, and operating expenses.

Strategic Planning and Operational Performance (KPIs)
• Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual strategies to meet or exceed Management By Objective (MBO) KPI targets aligned with customer wholesale objectives.
• Establish organizational goals, operational plans, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement operational policies, programs, and production strategies.
• Determine resource requirements to support production, staffing, and facility needs.
• Recommend and lead process, policy, and operational improvements to enhance performance and compliance.
• Oversee environmental sustainability initiatives in alignment with Company and regulatory standards.
• Plan and optimize facility layouts and designs to support safe, efficient, and scalable operations.
• Represent the operation by providing high level operational information to internal stakeholders, customers, and visitors as required.
• Traveling domestic up to 10%

  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach over shoulder, kneel, push, pull 1-3 hours per day
