The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
The dual brand Residence Inn/Fairfield Inn Annapolis looking for a dynamic, hands-on Hotel General Manager who is ready to make an impact. This isn't a behind-the-desk leadership role-it's an opportunity to be at the heart of the hotel, coaching teams, connecting with guests, solving challenges, and celebrating successes. You'll inspire your team by leading with energy, accountability, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
As the Hotel General Manager, you'll shape the guest experience, drive financial performance, build an engaged and motivated team, and ensure every aspect of the hotel operates at the highest level.
What You'll Do
You'll be the driving force behind every aspect of the hotel's success by:
- Leading all day-to-day operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Sales.
- Creating an exceptional guest experience that inspires loyalty and consistently exceeds expectations.
- Building, coaching, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team that delivers outstanding service every day.
- Recruiting top talent while fostering a culture of engagement, recognition, accountability, and fun.
- Driving revenue, profitability, and operational excellence through strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management.
- Partnering with Sales and Revenue teams to maximize market share and financial results.
- Developing strong relationships within the local community while staying ahead of market trends and competitive opportunities.
- Walking the hotel daily to ensure every detail reflects the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and service.
- Championing innovation and continuously identifying opportunities to improve the guest and associate experience.
- Leading by example-jumping in wherever needed and showing your team that no task is beneath a great leader.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of successful hotel General Manager experience, preferably with Marriott extended stay and select serve brands.
- Strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments, including Food & Beverage.
- A proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop exceptional teams.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and driving profitability.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

The salary range for this position is 125,000 to 135,000 annually.
