JOB DESCRIPTION

As a General Manager for KSI Collision Parts you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of a high-volume distribution center specializing in automotive collision parts. This role oversees daily operations, inventory management, logistics, customer service, and team leadership to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of products while maintaining high safety and service standards.

ESENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
  • Oversee all day-to-day distribution center operations, including receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, shipping, logistics including drivers, and delivery completions
  • Oversee Shipping Center including supervisor and operations (if applicable)
  • Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of collision parts orders to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
  • Warehouse maintenance responsibility

INVENTORY AND SUPPLY CHAIN
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory through cycle counts and audits
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendors to ensure consistent product availability

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and warehouse staff
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance
  • Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY
  • Oversee Customer Pick Up/Will Call area, ensuring efficient order handoff, accurate staging, minimal wait times, strong communication and consistent, high-quality customer experience, (if applicable)
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Address and resolve escalated customer issues and service failures
  • Partner with sales and customer service teams to support business growth

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
  • Manage P&L for the distribution center, including labor, transportation, and operating expenses
  • Develop and monitor budgets and performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce waste


SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety standards
  • Promote a safe working environment and lead safety initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company policies

TECHNOLOGY AND SYSTEMS
  • Oversee use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other operational tools
  • Leverage data and reporting to drive decision-making and operational improvements


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field (preferred)
  • 7-10+ years of distribution or warehouse operations experience, preferably in automotive or collision parts
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing large teams • Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations

  • Experience with Power BI
  • Travel up to 25%
