About the Position

The General Manager, Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement across Southern New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, this leader will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, oversee a team of Sales Territory Managers, and build strong relationships with key customers and partners. The role is highly visible and instrumental in shaping regional performance and long-term commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives
  • Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Sales Territory Managers
  • Drive sales and rental revenue growth across the assigned region
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics to ensure targets are achieved
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, prospects, and partners
  • Negotiate contracts and successfully close complex deals
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and service excellence
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product support teams

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably within construction equipment or heavy industry
  • Demonstrated success leading teams and achieving revenue growth targets
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
