The General Manager will be responsible for customer retention and profitability with a key focus on the variable side, which includes New and Used vehicle sales, Finance and Internet sales. Our ideal candidate has 5+ years' Automotive General Manager Experience.
Responsibilities - Plans and implements successful dealership operations
- Maintains CSI at or above company standards
- Assesses the operations of all dealership departments
- Works with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability
- Supervises department managers
- Oversee training and supervision of all dealership employees
- Oversee hiring and discipline decisions
- Oversees pricing and inventory
- Maintains good working relationship with manufacturers and lending institutions
- Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards
- Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Serves as effective dealership representative to community
- Oversees balance sheet management
- Maintains effective employee relations
- Conducts weekly manager meetings
- Promote and maintain good ESI
Qualifications- General Manager with Luxury Dealership Experience is required
- Proven track record
- Strong record of consistent positive Customer Satisfaction results
- Team-oriented
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
