Full Job Description
We are looking for a General Manager who can take the lead across a multifaceted destination operation, bringing together lodging, Food & Beverage, retail, guest services, and other revenue-generating activities.

This is a high-visibility leadership position for an operator who enjoys being close to the business and the people who make it successful. The General Manager will set the operational direction, develop and motivate teams, strengthen financial results, and ensure the property consistently delivers an outstanding experience for visitors from around the world.

Success in this role requires a proven ability to lead through complexity, communicate effectively, and turn strategy into action. We are seeking someone with a strong hospitality background who is comfortable overseeing multiple departments, managing competing priorities, and building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.

For the right leader, this is more than a General Manager position-it is an opportunity to lead an exceptional hospitality operation in one of America's most remarkable natural settings.

Duties Include:

  • Direct the day-to-day operation of a high-volume, multi-faceted hospitality destination, overseeing multiple departments, business units, and revenue streams while maintaining seamless coordination and execution.
  • Own overall financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor strategy, cost controls, and revenue optimization.
  • Drive performance across the operation by establishing clear standards, strengthening processes, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Build and lead strong management teams, with a focus on recruiting, coaching, succession planning, accountability, and employee engagement.
  • Translate business strategy into action, partnering with senior leadership, stakeholders, and operational teams to achieve business objectives and support continued growth.
  • Set the standard for the guest experience across a high-volume operation, ensuring consistent service, quality, and responsiveness throughout the property.
  • Maintain a strong culture of safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, company standards, risk management practices, and workplace safety protocols.
  • Use operational and financial data to guide decisions, identify trends, address performance gaps, and capitalize on opportunities across the business.
  • Oversee workforce initiatives, including employee retention, engagement, seasonal staffing, and housing programs where applicable.
  • Lead organizational and operational change, effectively implementing new initiatives, adapting to evolving business needs, and maintaining continuity across the operation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requires Skills and Experience:

  • 7-10 years of increasing leadership responsibility within hospitality, resorts, restaurants, or complex multi-unit operations.
  • Proficient business and financial skills with a track record of improving profitability, controlling costs, and driving revenue performance.
  • Dynamic leaded and mentor who can develop teams while fostering accountability and high performance across multiple operational areas.
  • Strategic and results-oriented leader who can balance long-term planning with hands-on execution and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, proven problem-solving, and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled at managing labor, staffing, scheduling, and operational performance in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency with POS/PMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred
