Full Job Description
General Manager - ESi
Ergonomic Solutions, Inc. (ESi), a Rhino Tool House company, is seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead and be accountable for all aspects of our engineered systems business. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring successful execution across engineering, fabrication, installation, and service.

The General Manager will drive operational performance, align cross-functional teams and execute across engineering, fabrication, and field installation to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget in a high-mix, engineered-to-order environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end operations, from order entry through final delivery, ensuring performance against safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Lead and align cross-functional teams (engineering, fabrication, purchasing, and service/installation) to drive execution, remove barriers, and improve overall business performance.
• Establish and execute operational strategy, including capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet customer demand and business goals.
• Own financial performance, including P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring visibility, accountability, and timely corrective actions to address issues.
• Drive project flow and coordination from sale through engineering, fabrication, and installation, maintaining visibility into status, risks, and delivery timelines.
• Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement aligned with Rhino Tool House core values (Teamwork, Accountability, Leadership, Knowledge, Professionalism).
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead hiring, development, and performance management to build a strong, accountable team.
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and long-term operational planning.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, or engineered systems environments, including multi-functional oversight.
• Strong experience in high-mix, engineered-to-order (ETO) or project-based environments.
• Solid business and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational alignment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and standard business tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience
• Material handling systems (overhead cranes, monorails, conveyors, etc.)
• Experience managing project-based or installation-driven operations
• Structural steel fabrication and installation
• Field service or construction project coordination
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
