About the Role:

Credible is looking for a General Manager of Emerging Verticals. Reporting to Credible's Chief Revenue Officer, this is a high-visibility role, with a clear mandate, that will have a significant impact on the company's overall business objectives. This role will be ultimately accountable for the growth, profitability, and user experience of new categories across Credible's owned and operated assets. Key categories the role will be responsible for launching and scaling include Auto Insurance, Banking, Credit Cards and Mortgage.

This role is for an ambitious individual with a background in financial services and a track record for being high-performing, analytical, and strategically-minded. The successful candidate will be eager to step up and embrace significant responsibility and accountability in a high-growth company, and operate with the Executive levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the business strategy and roadmap of Emerging Verticals
  • Leverage your domain expertise, along with that of key stakeholders, to determine prioritization and resourcing including decisions relating to launching new products
  • Cross-functional coordination, development, and execution of key initiatives and goals
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve and accelerate the development of the new categories.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and develop a deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities within Emerging Verticals
  • Setting and maintaining the yearly budget and long-range planning for the vertical
  • Create a motivating cross-functional team environment
  • Identify, manage, execute, and measure the impact of new projects that generate meaningful efficiencies and/or growth for the business
  • Structured leadership that is rigorous in driving open-ended initiatives and problems that are unstructured
  • Carry influence within the organization to garner internal support for key initiatives
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned


Education and Experience:
  • 10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years of experience in insurance, banking, and/or credit card marketplaces
  • P&L ownership experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication
  • Highly analytical, strategic, and creative thinker with strong business acumen
  • Experience with financial and operational modeling
  • Excellent presentation skills - capable of developing and delivering compelling presentations and running efficient and productive meetings
  • Possess strong operational and strategy experience, preferably at a fast-growing company
  • Demonstrated ability and track record of driving business results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment


Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
