Job QualificationsSix years of progressive retail/food/services management experience. One year of experience must include the following within the last five years: Main Store Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Sales & Merchandise Manager, Exchange Retail Business Manager, Exchange Business Manager, Branch Store, Region Food Program Specialist, Region Service Program Specialist or Region Retail Program Specialist. One year of experience at the pay band 4-2/4-3 level or equivalent industry experience is required.
Associate must obtain General Manager contracting authority within 7 days of assuming this role.
Or
Bachelor's degree and four years of progressive retail/food/services management experience. Monitors performance of staff to ensure goals and targets are met. Takes corrective actions as necessary.
Oversees the daily operations of the Exchange. Interacts with retail, food, services, human resources, loss prevention to ensure execution of programs.
Intervenes with military command elements which include command meetings (town hall, weekly, staff meetings), real property, master planning and protocol.
Develops, trains, coaches and mentors managers and associates for future development.
Performs other duties as assigned.
