Role OverviewSodexo is seeking a
General Manager 4, Food to lead our dining operations at
Fort Hudson Nursing Center, a skilled care and independent living facility serving approximately 280 residents. Fort Hudson is located along the Hudson River in Washington County,
Fort Edward, New York, which offers a blend of historic significance, scenic beauty, and small-town charm. Located just 20 to 25 minutes from both Lake George and Saratoga Springs, Fort Hudson.
What You'll Do- have oversight of daily dining operations (decentralized dining, dining room service, adult day care and PACE program);
- deliver high-quality food service;
- achieve company and client financial targets and goals (fee account);
- develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships;
- develop strategic plans;
- create a positive environment; and
- ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

What You Bring- five or more years of previous food service management experience at a director/ general manager level, ideally in a healthcare environment;
- a work history demonstrating strong leadership and the ability to work collaboratively;
- the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
- the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
- working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
