Who You'll Work With

The Client Partner - US Department of Homeland Security will play a pivotal leadership role within Slalom's Federal Market, reporting directly to the DHS Account Lead (Senior Director). You'll be part of a mission-driven team helping the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its components achieve outcomes that strengthen our nation's safety, resilience, and digital modernization.

We're seeking a strategic, client-focused, and technology-driven services leader who thrives at the intersection of mission enablement and innovation-someone who understands both federal procurement dynamics and modern technology transformation (cloud, data, artificial intelligence, CRM tools).

What You'll Do

Account Leadership & Growth
  • Partner closely with the DHS Lead to execute account strategy across DHS components, with emphasis on building deep relationships and delivering measurable mission impact.
  • Lead and expand Slalom's presence across multiple DHS components; serve as a trusted advisor with deep expertise in at least one component (CBP, FEMA, USCIS, USCG, ICE, TSA, USSS, or CISA).
  • Identify, qualify, and shape new opportunities across DHS in alignment with Slalom's strengths in data modernization, AI, cloud, and digital services.
  • Develop and manage capture and proposal strategies, collaborating with business development and alliance partners (e.g., AWS, Salesforce, Google Cloud).
  • Support pipeline and revenue growth targets while emphasizing delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.

Client Impact & Delivery Excellence
  • Oversee engagement delivery, ensuring technical quality, mission relevance, and compliance excellence.
  • Translate DHS mission challenges into innovative technology-enabled solutions that leverage Slalom's capabilities in data, AI, and Salesforce/ServiceNow ecosystems.
  • Lead account governance, issue escalation, and risk management to uphold client trust and project performance.

People Leadership & Collaboration
  • Mentor and guide account team members, helping grow the next generation of DHS technology services leaders.
  • Create a high-performing team culture that encourages curiosity, accountability, and authenticity.
  • Collaborate with capability leaders across Slalom's practices to drive cross-market pursuits and solution innovation.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications
  • 7-12+ years of experience leading federal consulting or technology engagements with demonstrated success in DHS.
  • Knowledge of multiple DHS components and deep expertise in at least one (e.g., CBP, FEMA, USCIS, USCG, ICE, TSA, USSS, or CISA).
  • Proven success in federal capture management, proposal leadership, and account growth within complex government environments.
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition and compliance frameworks (FAR, IDIQ, BPA, GSA, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across delivery, capture, and solutioning.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across government, industry, and alliance partners.
  • Experience in technology transformation programs involving data platforms, analytics, cloud architecture, or CRM modernization.
  • Applicants must be able to pass a federal background investigation and meet suitability requirements for employment on a federal contract.

Desired / Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Data & AI service offerings, including:
    • Data strategy and governance, modernization, and migration.
    • AI/ML implementation, responsible AI, and advanced analytics for mission outcomes.
    • DataOps, MLOps, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce public sector capabilities, including:
    • CRM modernization, constituent engagement, and case management.
    • Salesforce Government Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud solutions.
    • Integration with legacy and modern federal systems.
  • Salesforce or cloud certifications (Salesforce Certified Professional, AWS/Azure certifications) a plus.
  • Prior experience leading capture or delivery within a federal consulting firm or system integrator.
  • Active Public Trust or higher federal security clearance preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. At the Senior Principal level, the targeted base salary range is $157,000 to $205,000, and at the Director level, the targeted base salary range is $190,000 - $240,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
