Junior Project Manager / Project Analyst (Data)Location: Remote

OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager / Project Analyst to support a large-scale data transformation initiative within a complex enterprise environment. This role will focus on coordinating ongoing data program work as delivery shifts from a centralized model to distributed domain teams.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills, along with a foundational understanding of technical or data-focused programs. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their project management career who wants exposure to enterprise data initiatives and cross-functional delivery.
What You'll Do- Support coordination and execution of project activities across multiple data workstreams
- Assist in transitioning and distributing work to domain teams, ensuring accountability and progress tracking
- Drive follow-ups with stakeholders to maintain momentum and ensure deliverables are on track
- Maintain and communicate project status, including risks, dependencies, and key milestones
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, including meeting coordination, action tracking, and escalations
- Perform project triage by identifying issues, flagging risks, and escalating when necessary
- Track deliverables and ensure timelines and quality expectations are met
- Support data-related initiatives by partnering with technical teams and maintaining awareness of key topics
- Assist in preparing project reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready updates
- Contribute to program documentation and ensure project artifacts are organized and up to date
What You'll Bring- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or analyst roles
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to proactively follow up, identify gaps, and escalate issues when needed
- Critical thinking skills and a structured approach to solving problems
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Required Technical / Data Exposure- Foundational understanding of data, analytics, or technology-driven programs
- Ability to follow technical discussions and translate key points into actionable updates
- Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools
Nice to Have- Exposure to data transformation, migration, or analytics initiatives
- Experience working in distributed or federated team environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Microsoft Project
- Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is 45-55/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
