Job Description

What You'll Do
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to assess current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design practical, scalable solutions
  • Lead process improvement efforts using methodologies like Six Sigma, process mining, and root cause analysis to drive measurable outcomes
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align on requirements, prioritize opportunities, and build consensus on transformation initiatives
  • Develop data-driven business cases that quantify the value of automation, AI, and process improvements
  • Design and implement low-code and automation solutions (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath) to improve operational efficiency
  • Advise clients on when and how to apply automation, AI-assisted workflows, or autonomous/agentic AI solutions for maximum impact
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to governance and operating model standards
  • Drive adoption through strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and effective change management
  • Define and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to track value realization and identify ongoing improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to innovation by sharing best practices, developing reusable assets, and staying current on emerging automation and AI trends

What You'll Bring
  • 6-10 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or automation consulting
  • Proven ability to work across business and technical teams in complex, matrixed environments
  • Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Hands-on experience with low-code and automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and/or UiPath
  • Experience applying process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, DMAIC, value stream mapping) to deliver tangible results
  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into structured, practical solutions across people, process, and technology
  • Comfort working with data to generate insights, build business cases, and support decision-making
  • Experience evaluating and applying different automation approaches (RPA, APIs, low-code, AI/agentic automation)
  • Understanding of emerging AI trends and how they are transforming business operations and process improvement
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience working with executive stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teams
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or process improvement certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Principal is $145,000 to $175,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
