Job Description

Role: Senior Product Strategist (AI & Enterprise Transformation)

Location: Targeting individuals residing in West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Florida

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Product Strategist to operate at the intersection of business, technology, and data to helping organizations turn ambiguous opportunities into actionable, high-impact products.

This role is designed for a hybrid thinker and doer: someone who can define strategy, frame value, and also roll up their sleeves to dig into the details, and help inform execution. You'll work across multiple initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and guide delivery from concept to early production.

What You'll Do:

1. Shape Ambiguous Opportunities into Clear Product Direction
  • Identify and define business problems through research, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis, solving across people, process, and technology
  • Translate loosely defined ideas into structured product opportunities
  • Develop product strategies, vision statements, and initiative charters
  • Frame and quantify business value, including KPIs and success metrics

2. Drive End-to-End Product Definition
  • Break down opportunities into capabilities, features, and prioritized backlogs
  • Create high-level roadmaps that balance speed, feasibility, and impact
  • Define MVP scope and iterate toward scalable solutions

3. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with stakeholders across business, data science, and engineering
  • Act as the connective tissue between strategy and execution teams
  • Facilitate alignment, drive decisions, and navigate competing priorities
  • Communicate progress and recommendations to leadership

4. Support Execution & Delivery
  • Work alongside engineering and data teams during delivery cycles
  • Refine requirements and adapt scope based on learnings
  • Ensure solutions are aligned to intended business outcomes
  • Help unblock teams and maintain momentum across workstreams

5. Evaluate and Scale Initiatives
  • Assess existing initiatives for viability, scalability, and value
  • Identify redundancies, gaps, and opportunities for consolidation
  • Recommend pathways to evolve pilots into enterprise-grade solutions
  • Contribute to governance, measurement, and sustainability frameworks

6. Lead Through Relationships (On the Ground)
  • Serve as the primary, trusted partner to stakeholders on-site in Palm Beach Gardens
  • Build strong, authentic relationships across business, product, and technology teams
  • Navigate organizational dynamics, align priorities, and drive decision-making
  • Be the relational glue that keeps delivery teams connected, informed, and moving forward

7. Be Accountable for Quality Across Workstreams
  • Ensure consistency and quality of output across multiple product strategists and initiatives
  • Review and elevate key deliverables (charters, problem statements, roadmaps, value frameworks)
  • Coach others on structuring problems, telling clearer stories, and tightening execution
  • Act as a bar-raiser for what "good" looks like in product strategy and service design

8. Identify and Expand Opportunities
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to deepen or expand the work
  • Connect dots across initiatives to uncover additional value or unmet needs
  • Help shape follow-on efforts and articulate the value of continued investment
  • Contribute to growing the product strategy and service design footprint within the organization

AI / Data Fluency
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML or data-driven products (you don't need to be technical, but you "get it")
  • Ability to assess feasibility and value of AI-enabled solutions
  • Experience with data ecosystems, integrations, or analytics is a plus

Business & Value Orientation
  • Strong ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes
  • Experience defining KPIs, success metrics, and value frameworks
  • Comfort making trade-offs based on impact vs. effort

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:The targeted base salary pay range for Principal Consultant in Miami FL, is $130,000 to $179,000 per year. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
