Job Description

Who You'll Work With

The Agentic Managed Services (AMS) Group at Slalom is redefining how technology managed services are delivered - combining an AI-agent platform, experienced engineers, and global operations to run critical systems for enterprise clients. The AMS Product Engineering team designs and builds the platform at the center of this model, used by Slalom teams and enterprise clients around the world. It is a small, senior team that moves quickly, holds a high technical bar, and scales its impact through automation and AI rather than team size.

The Role

This role is accountable for the deployed estate of AMS products across the United States: single-tenant instances running inside client infrastructure, operated by AMS, with clients holding secure, scoped reporting visibility. The director owns the operational posture of that fleet - which client runs which version where, and how healthy it is - along with deployment operations and the customer success relationship end to end. The estate is managed through automation and AI agents, not through growing headcount, and the operating model this role builds will become the blueprint for future international expansion.

What You'll Do

Own the deployed-estate posture: fleet inventory, version currency, operational health, and deployment operations across client environments.

Own customer success and interaction for deployed products: onboarding, adoption, executive relationships, escalation, and renewal health.

Manage the estate through automation: fleet telemetry, upgrade orchestration, and health reporting, extending the platform's tooling as the estate grows.

Define the operational model for each engagement across AMS-operated services, nearshore-delivered operations, and client reporting visibility.

Build the deployment and customer success playbooks that will carry the estate into future markets, partnering with the compliance lead and product teams.

What You Bring

10+ years in product operations, technical customer success leadership, or SaaS and fleet operations at scale.

You have operated a multi-instance product estate: version management, coordinated upgrades, and incident communication.

Executive presence with customers: you own senior relationships and navigate difficult conversations well.

Demonstrated ability to scale operations through tooling and automation rather than team growth.

What Sets You Apart

Experience operating software inside customer-owned infrastructure (private SaaS or bring-your-own-cloud models).

You have built a customer success function from the ground up.

Experience taking an operations model into new international markets.

How We Work

AI agents are central to how this team works. In this role, you will coordinate multi-step agent workflows as part of your daily work, drawing on and extending the team's shared library of agent tooling, and reviewing agent-produced work by verifying evidence of correct behavior. Candidates should expect - and want - a working style in which AI multiplies their individual output several times over.

This team is built on two commitments: deep craft - in engineering, architecture, product, operations, or compliance - and genuine fluency in AI-assisted ways of working. If you are excited by what your discipline becomes when AI agents handle the routine, we would like to meet you.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. As a result, Slalom is proud to invest in benefits that include meaningful time off and paid holidays, parental leave, 401(k) with a match, a range of choices for highly subsidized health, dental, & vision coverage, adoption and fertility assistance, and short/long-term disability. We also offer yearly $350 reimbursement account for any well-being-related expenses, as well as discounted home, auto, and pet insurance.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for the Director level is $195,000 - $238,000.
