Job Description

Role: Slalom Flex (Project Based) - Scrum Master

Location: Centennial, CO

*Please note: This role is not eligiblefor remote work. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Centennial area and have the ability to be onsite 5 days per week*

The Scrum Master plays a critical leadership role in understanding the client's business needs and exceeding expectations in delivery and value. This role operates as a senior servant leader, helping scale Agile practices beyond a single team and contributing to broader program-level coordination, with the opportunity to grow into Release Train Engineer (RTE) responsibilities.

What You'll Do
  • Lead one or more Agile teams using Scrum Master best practices, while coaching teams toward higher maturity and self-organization
  • Partner with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders to align team execution with broader program priorities and business outcomes
  • Support sprint planning and help teams commit to realistic, outcome-driven goals
  • Facilitate core Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and drive continuous improvement across teams
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments, escalating and navigating cross-team dependencies as needed
  • Drive transparency through consistent communication of risks, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
  • Contribute to scaling Agile practices by supporting coordination across multiple teams (e.g., dependency management, planning alignment)
  • Begin to take on program-level responsibilities, such as facilitating cross-team ceremonies, supporting PI planning, and partnering with senior leaders-building toward RTE capabilities

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience, with demonstrated success leading Agile teams in complex delivery environments
  • Experience working across multiple teams or within scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe or similar), with exposure to program-level planning and coordination
  • Strong executive presence, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Consulting experience

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $60 to $70/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
