Job Description

We are seeking a NetSuite Consultant with deep expertise in SuiteBilling and Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) to lead end-to-end implementations, optimize billing operations, and support complex subscription-based business models. This role requires strong functional and technical knowledge of NetSuite's billing architecture, revenue recognition processes, and integrations with Salesforce. The ideal candidate is experienced in client onboarding, system configuration, and delivering scalable, compliant billing solutions.

Job Title: Enterprise Order-to-Revenue - Sr. NetSuite Consultant/Developer

What You'll Do
NetSuite & SuiteBilling Expertise
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in NetSuite Standard and Advanced ARM modules and SuiteBilling.
  • Design, configure, and implement subscription-based billing solutions using SuiteBilling.
  • Configure and manage:
    • Billing Accounts
    • Subscription Plans
    • Price Books
    • Usage-based and recurring billing models
    • Subscription change orders and amendments
  • Lead invoice generation processes and oversee end-to-end billing operations.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition through Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), including event-based revenue recognition and subscription event processing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies, system issues, and process gaps.
Implementation & Client Onboarding
  • Lead full lifecycle NetSuite implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage onboarding of new customers onto SuiteBilling and NetSuite, ensuring seamless data migration and minimal disruption.
  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to define subscription models, billing rules, and revenue recognition requirements.
  • Develop implementation documentation, solution design documents, and end-user training materials.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to finance, billing, and operations teams.
Salesforce to NetSuite Integration
  • Design and support integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite billing modules.
  • Ensure accurate synchronization of:
    • Customer records
    • Subscription data
    • Pricing structures
    • Sales orders and billing triggers
  • Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data flow and reduce billing errors.
Data Migration & System Optimization
  • Lead complex data migrations, including:
    • Billing Accounts
    • Price Plans
    • Subscription Plans
    • Price Books
    • Active Subscriptions
    • Subscription Activation Change Orders
    • Subscription Event Revenue Recognition data
  • Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and enhance automation.

AI
  • Uses approved enterprise AI tools and coding agents to support development, configuration, testing, documentation, and technical analysis in day-to-day delivery.
  • Reviews and validates AI-generated outputs for correctness, security, maintainability, and alignment to functional and technical requirements.
  • Builds and contributes reusable AI-enabled assets, including prompts, automations, agents, or skills, that improve delivery speed, quality, and scalability.


What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools in delivery work.

  • Ability to clearly describe how AI was used in a delivered feature, project, or meaningful technical deliverable, including workflow, constraints, and quality controls.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range is :

  • East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley:
  • Senior Consultant: $167,000-$203,000
  • San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester:
  • Senior Consultant: $153,000-$186,000
  • All other locations:
  • Senior Consultant: $140,000-$171,000

In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
