Full Job Description
The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Foreman/Superintendent to oversee a mechanical / piping project for Enbridge in Fort McMurray, AB.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader who can effectively coordinate teams, manage subcontractors and optimize project execution across multiple projects/ workfronts. This candidate will also be a direct contact with the client field construction team so client management skills are a necessity.

This is scheduled to start Jul 1, 2026 and will go to approximately October 8, 2026. Shift is 10 days on and 4 days off, 10 hours/day.

Camp accommodations provided at Grey Wolf.

Travel: Please note that no flights are provided for this position; candidates are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the project site. A travel allowance will be provided in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Managing the project as per the Safety, Quality and Environmental management plans and OCL core values.
  • Managing the schedule and delivering the project on budget and as per schedule.
  • Allocating general and daily responsibilities to craft and subcontractors
  • Provide daily and weekly reporting internally and externally.
  • Maintain regular contact with client representatives on schedule, delivery, and technical issues.
  • Input into construction estimates for project scope of work, including labour, equipment, supplies, materials, and other costs.
  • Manage materials and tooling required for execution of works.
  • Drive cost-effective strategies in the field and efficient execution of scope.
  • Oversight/mentorship of construction worker task assignment and support of field foreman.
  • Participate in site safety toolbox meetings.
  • Coordinate construction services and activities

Experience/Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 + years Foreman experience leading medium to large scale industrial projects
  • Proven OIl & Gas facility experience is highly recommended
  • A journeyman level trades background is preferred or equivalent non-ticketed experience.
  • Must be able to read and understand construction drawings, ITPs and schedules.
  • Good computer skills required. e.g Bluebeam, Excel, Gmail, Google Drive, google calendar. We are a Google based company.
  • A demonstrated background in team leadership with a focus on worksite safety.
  • Strong construction knowledge to plan and forecast manpower, material and subcontractors.
  • Highly effective client relations, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A natural leader and mentor that isn't afraid to get on the tools when needed to train and lead by example.
  • Leadership in Safety Excellence (LSE)
  • Other beneficial certificates (H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space)
  • Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
