Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Commercial Structured Cabling division. This role requires a proven leader with strong technical knowledge in structured cabling and low voltage installations, exceptional business development skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, financials, and departmental operations. The ideal candidate will bring their own customer base, demonstrate expertise in school and hospital low voltage construction, and drive growth across the Maryland and DC markets.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, manage, and oversee all aspects of commercial structured cabling and low voltage installation projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships; leverage existing customer base to generate new business opportunities.
• Drive sales and business development to expand market share and revenue.
• Manage departmental operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure financial health of projects by monitoring budgets, margins, forecasts, and profitability.
• Provide leadership to project teams ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with NEC, BICSI, and other industry standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee projects in education (schools) and healthcare (hospitals), ensuring compliance with industry-specific requirements.
• Deliver regular reporting on departmental and project performance to executive leadership.

Qualifications
• Minimum 7-10 years' experience in commercial structured cabling and low voltage project management.
• Demonstrated success in sales, business development, and maintaining a customer base.
• Strong background managing multiple projects and leading teams in the commercial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of structured cabling systems, low voltage installations, and related technologies.
• Experience with school and hospital low voltage construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage departmental operations and financial performance (budgets, margins, and forecasts).
• BICSI certifications strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work out of Hampstead, MD office and travel
