The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a General Engineer (Interdisciplinary /GS-0801-13) to work at Scott AFB, IL.
Air Mobility Command is looking for high speed individuals to join their Civil Engineer team! We are looking for both a UMMC/MILCON Program Manager and an FSRM Program Manager. These positions will coordinate between all AMC locations and some non-AMC locations to consolidate requirements, develop strategies, and recommend solutions to ensure operational capabilities. Qualifications:
US citizenship is required.
The work requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position.
Special Sensitive: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Mastery of advanced concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of professional facility engineering/architecture to effectively perform project planning, programming, development, execution, and advisory services.
Knowledge of facility planning/programming principles and work classification to apply new theories and/or applications to issues and provide expert technical advice and direction to senior officials.
Knowledge of a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness including long term comprehensive planning.
Knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting cycles; financial systems; restrictions on the expenditures of funds; and applicable public laws.
Skill in devising and applying new approaches and standards to problems not susceptible to treatment by accepted and established practices and procedures.
