Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive oral examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions
- Restore teeth using evidence-based restorative procedures
- Perform routine and surgical extractions
- Provide basic endodontic treatment
- Deliver fixed and removable prosthodontic services
- Treat pediatric and adult patients
- Evaluate patients' overall health before dental treatment
- Educate patients on preventive oral health and hygiene
- Maintain accurate electronic dental records
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive care to diverse patient populations

RequirementsQualificationsRequired- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active, unrestricted South Carolina Dental License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Current DEA Registration and applicable state-controlled substance registration
- Eligible for South Carolina Medicaid provider enrollment
Preferred- 3-5 years of clinical experience
- Completion of an accredited AEGD or GPR residency
- Experience treating pediatric patients
- Experience practicing in an FQHC, community health center, or public health setting
