Full Job Description
Quality Collision Group is seeking an accomplished General Counsel to join its executive leadership team and lead the legal function for a rapidly expanding, private equity-backed platform of OEM-certified automotive collision repair centers. As a key member of the executive team, the General Counsel will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's acquisitive growth strategy and multi-site operations across the United States. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Counsel will serve as the senior legal advisor to executive management, the financial sponsor, and the Board of Directors. This role is responsible for all legal aspects of M&A activity-including transaction structuring, diligence, contract negotiation, and post-closing integration-as well as corporate governance, entity management, and regulatory compliance. The General Counsel will partner cross-functionally with corporate development, finance, HR, IT, and operations to proactively identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and operational risks. The ideal candidate brings a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, an active license to practice law in the United States, and 5-10 years of corporate and transactional experience, including M&A execution within a leading law firm or acquisitive, private equity-backed organization. Strong business acumen, sound judgment, and executive-level communication skills are essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, in-person executive environment. Quality Collision Group currently operates 100+ locations nationwide and continues to grow through strategic acquisitions and greenfield development, building a best-in-class network dedicated to high-quality, manufacturer-certified repairs and exceptional customer service.
