Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law by the Michigan State Bar Association.
• 7-10 years of attorney experience, preferably in corporate law.
• Proven knowledge of CMS Regulations and Michigan Nursing Home Operation Laws.
• Experience handling union contracts and labor laws, including EEOC regulations.

• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding negotiation and administrative abilities.
• Background in healthcare law is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new business agreements with vendors and subcontractors.

• Prepare legal documents for trials and represent the company in legal situations.
• Establish and manage the company's legal policy and positions.
• Negotiate real estate acquisitions and agreements with authorities.
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks to the company.
• Assess legal implications of new products and services.
• Advise leadership on HR policies to minimize risk exposure.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance matters and corporate governance.
