Advantage Point Group, Inc. is looking to add a General Construction Manager / Owner's Representative for a position at an industrial plant in Nevada, MO to monitor construction on a project that involves relocating existing plant process equipment. The installation area is classified as Class I, Division 1 and is currently in operation. The scope also includes installation of monitoring equipment, low-voltage electrical equipment, fire protection systems, and other required utilities within a chemical industrial area.
PLEASE NO RECRUITING OR STAFFING AGENCIES!ResponsibilitiesThe Owner's Representative is to provide field leadership and construction management support for a brownfield project within an active operating facility. This role will be responsible for supporting successful construction execution by managing multiple contractors and trades while working closely with site operations, site utilities, maintenance, EHS/permitting, and project stakeholders. The role must ensure disciplined adherence to safety, quality, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Requirements- Minimum of 15 years of construction management experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or similarly complex project environments.
- Proven experience working as a general contractor or construction manager overseeing contractors and trades on chemical industrial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and field execution practices.
- Demonstrated experience with constructability planning, construction sequencing, scheduling, cost awareness, and risk management.
- Experience with installation of pressure vessels, complex lifting activities, and safe placement of heavy equipment inside operating brownfield facilities.
- Experience and strong knowledge of safely executing construction within a Class I, Division 1 environment.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
Work Schedule- Planned Schedule: Starts in October.
- Work hours: 9-10 hours per day
- Work shift: Day shift
- Weekend work: Up to two weekends per month
Competitive Compensation and Benefits- Pay Rate: $65 - $95 per hour ($135K to $198K) depending upon previous experience and qualifications.
